Latest Update

One of the exciting new designs for the magazine arrived back today. Knitted in 70% Alpaca, 30% Blue Faced Leicester yarn, it's beautifully soft and very tactile. We made the most of this by using a fabulous organic looking textured stitch. What do you think?

The magazine is moving along at high speed now. Articles and patterns being added all the time. It should be a great first issue. If you are interested in designing for us or have an article you would like to see in print, click on submissions when the magazine has launched and get in touch.

New Designs

We have received some beautiful yarn from a UK producer of Alpaca yarn. They have their own Alpaca farm which you can read all about in the first issue of www.knitonthenet.com. We are working on two designs, firstly a supersoft, textured cushion and a beautiful wrap cardigan in this season's colour, grey. The yarn is a delight to work with and we are very happy with the designs. We will give you a bit of a sneek preview soon.

Our web designer has agreed to make occasional posts to let us all know how the very complex website is developing in time for November.

This week is going to involve a lot more designing, knitting and even more typing!

It's slow but steady progress and the first issue of the magazine should be online sometime in November. Watch this space.....
